Birds so far
Here are the birds I have so far (well the ones that were dry enough to scan) Starting at the top: Winter bluebird, Downy Woodpecker, House Wren, Tufted Titmouse, Spring Bluebird, Red Breasted Nuthatch, Female Cardinal and finally a male Cardinal.
Originally from Ledyard, Connecticut I now reside on Massachusett's North Shore where I just graduated from Montserrat College of Art's illustration department. Back in March I found out about this "painting a day" phenomenon that is all over the internet. I thought that it was a really interesting idea so I decided to try it out. I ended up loving it and continued to do one every day until May (you can see all of these paintings on my main website: alyssawatters.com). I still feel that doing a painting a day is very important and I try to make it a top priority, but I also found that doing one of these every single day takes me away from ever doing any of my big paintings, which I definitely missed. So now my goal is just to make sure that I am working on something every day. Thanks for stopping by and please check back as I plan to update this as much as I can.
